Welcome to MeetingMD!

MeetingMD, (“MeetingMD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the MeetingMD mobile applications (each, an “App”) and website located at www.meetingmd.com (the “Site”, respectively) and several related services, including communication and scheduling services (all such services, “Services”).

Because we gather important information from users of the Site and Services, we have established this Privacy Policy as a means to communicate our information collection, use and dissemination practices. To access and use the Site and/or Services, you must agree to our Terms of Use located at https://www.meetingmd.com/terms/ and any other applicable terms. Capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy will have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE PROCESSED BY US IN THE COUNTRY WHERE IT WAS COLLECTED AS WELL AS OTHER COUNTRIES (INCLUDING THE UNITED STATES) WHERE LAWS REGARDING PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE LESS STRINGENT THAN THE LAWS IN YOUR COUNTRY. BY USING THE SITE AND SERVICES AND PROVIDING ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THE TRANSFER OF DATA FROM YOUR COUNTRY TO A COUNTRY THAT MAY HAVE LESS STRINGENT LAWS, AND THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IN CONFORMANCE WITH THIS POLICY.

So we are clear about the terminology we are using, when we use the phrase “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean your contact information (e.g., your name, address, email address, or telephone number) and any other non-public information that is associated with your contact information. When we use the phrase “Anonymous Information” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that is not associated with or linked to your Personal Information, such as aggregated, de-identified data. Our Services are designed for businesses and are not intended for personal or household use. Accordingly, we treat all Personal Information covered by this Privacy Policy, including information about any visitors to our Site, as pertaining to individuals acting as business representatives, rather than in their personal capacity.

Children.

The Site and Services are not directed to children and children are not eligible to use our Services. Protecting the privacy of children is very important to us. We do not collect or maintain Personal Information from people we actually know are under 13 years of age, and no part of our App, Site or Services is designed to attract people under 13 years of age. If we later learn that a user is under 13 years of age, we will take steps to remove that user’s Personal Information from our databases and to prevent the user from utilizing the App, Site, and Services.

How We Collect Information.

Personal Information

In general, the Personal Information we gather enables us to provide the Services and helps us learn more about the use of the Site and/or Services. We collect Personal Information that you submit to us voluntarily when you register and/or use the Services.

When you download the App, we may collect your device type, your wireless carrier, and your individual device ID, and we associate this with your Personal Information. Our App may pull information about your contacts and schedule from your local calendar on your mobile device, and we may use that information to provide you certain functionality as part of the App. As this is associated with you, we consider it to be Personal Information. We may also send information back to your local calendar, tasks, and contacts on your mobile device.

As you use the Services, we may collect location-based information from you through your mobile or other location-aware device. If you tell us where you are (e.g., by allowing your mobile device to send us your location), we may collect, store, and use that information. Of course, your location may also be apparent from your content. If you want to deactivate this feature, you can disable location services on your mobile device. Please contact your carrier for more information.

When you communicate with us through our Site or Services or by sending us an email, we may collect and store any information that is contained in your communications with us. You can choose not to provide us with certain information, but this may limit the features of the Site or Services you are able to use.

While our Services are intended for use by healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical companies, our Services are not designed to store or process personal health information (“PHI”). Please do not submit any PHI to us through your use of the Services.

Certain of our Services are designed for employees, contractors or representatives associated with an entity that has a separate agreement with us for the provision of Services (such entity, a “Corporate Subscriber”). To the extent you obtain access to our Services as part of your relationship with a Corporate Subscriber, you acknowledge that we may share any data or personal information provided by or obtained from you with the applicable Corporate Subscriber and we do not and cannot control how the Corporate Subscriber uses such information. You hereby consent to such disclosure. In addition, a Corporate Subscriber or other users associated with such Corporate Subscriber may provide information about you as part of the Services, and we will not consider this to be your Personal Information. You will not have access to or control over such information, which will be controlled by the applicable Corporate Subscriber.

We collect the following types of Anonymous Information:

Information Collected by Our Servers.

To make our Site and Services more useful to you, our servers (which may be hosted by a third party service provider) collect information from you, including your browser type, operating system, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address (a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet, which may vary from session to session), domain name, and/or a date/time stamp for your visit.

Log Files.

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, Internet service provider (“ISP”), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information to analyze trends, administer the Site, track users’ movements around the Site, gather demographic information about our user base as a whole, and better tailor our Services to our users’ needs. For example, some of the information may be collected so that when you visit the Site or use the Services again, it will recognize you and the information could then be used to serve advertisements and other information appropriate to your interests.

Cookies.

Like many online services, we use cookies to collect information. “Cookies” are small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing the website. We may use both session Cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent Cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience on our Site or when using our Services. This type of information is collected to make the Site or Services more useful to you and to tailor the experience with us to meet your special interests and needs. Currently, we do not recognize automated browser signals regarding tracking, including “do-not-track” signals.

Pixel Tags.

In addition, we use “Pixel Tags” (also referred to as clear Gifs, Web beacons, or Web bugs). Pixel Tags are tiny graphic images with a unique identifier, similar in function to Cookies, which are used to track online movements of Web users. In contrast to Cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, Pixel Tags are embedded invisibly in Web pages. Pixel Tags also allow us to send e-mail messages in a format users can read, and they tell us whether e-mails have been opened to ensure that we are sending only messages that are of interest to our users. We may use this information to reduce or eliminate messages sent to a user. We do not tie the information gathered by Pixel Tags to our users’ Personal Information.

Collection of Information by Advertisers.

We may use third parties to serve ads on the Site or via the Services. Certain third parties may automatically collect information about your visits to our Site and other websites, your IP address, your ISP, the browser you use to visit our Site (but not your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number). Third parties may collect, but we do not authorize them to collect, Personal Information about your online activities over time and across different third party websites when you use the Site or Services. They do this by using Cookies or other technologies. Information collected may be used, among other things, to deliver advertising targeted to your interests and to better understand the usage and visitation of our Site and the other sites tracked by these third parties. This policy does not apply to, and we are not responsible for, Cookies or pixel tags in third party ads, and we encourage you to check the privacy policies of advertisers and/or ad services to learn about their use of Cookies and other technologies. If you would like more information about this practice and to know your choices about not having this information used by these companies, click here: http://www.aboutads.info/choices.

Mobile Device.

We may collect information about the computer or device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, MAC address, unique device identifier, phone number, and mobile network information. In addition, the Services may access your device’s image storage applications, with your consent, to facilitate your use of certain features of the Services. For more information about how you can control our access to these applications, please see “Your Choices” below.

Aggregate Information Collection.

We may collect aggregate information including but not limited to, appointment information, call patterns, sales force size (measured by company and geography) and any other similar data collected through the Services so that we can analyze such data relating to sales force activity, call patterns, and individual sales representative performance.

Disclosure – Analytics

We may also use third party tracking services to help us analyze how users use the App and Services. These services collect only the unique device identifier assigned to your mobile device, rather than your name or other personally identifying information, and use it to collect information such as how often users open the App and what features they use in the App. We use this information to improve our App and Services. We do not combine the information generated thereby with your Personal Information, and we do not associate you in any way with your device identifier. Only these services know and associate you (on a non-identifiable basis) with your identifier.

Our Relationship with Third Party Services

We may offer you interfaces that allow you to connect with third party services such as Salesforce (collectively, “Third Party Services”) through our Site and Services. We will work with the Third Party Services’ application protocol interface (API) in a way that allows you to authorize us to access your account on that Third Party Service on your behalf. In order to provide this authorization, except as set forth below, you will not provide us with your username or password to the Third Party Service, but you will need to log-in to that Third Party Service directly through our Site or App. Once authorized by you, the Third Party Service will provide us a token that allows it to recognize us when we ask, on your behalf, for access to your account information or to post information. You will be able to revoke our access to any Third Party Service at any time by amending the appropriate settings from within your account settings on the applicable Third Party Service, though such revocation may limit the Services we are able to provide you.

How We Use Information.

Personal Information

We may use your Personal Information to:

Provide the Services and connect healthcare practices with pharmaceutical representatives;

Provide you with Services and customer support (and, if you are associated with a Corporate Subscriber, to provide the Corporate Subscriber with Services, analytics and customer support);

Process payments relating to your account;

Tailor the features and content of the Services to you;

Market our products and services (and those of third parties) to you that we believe may be of interest to you, though we will not disclose your Personal Information in doing so. For example, we allow advertisers to choose the characteristics of users who will see their advertisements and we may use the attributes we have collected to select the appropriate audience for those advertisements;

Respond to your requests, resolve disputes and/or troubleshoot problems;

Improve the quality of the Site and the Services; and

Communicate with you about the Site and the Services.

Your Personal Information is necessary to provide the Services, and we want to make sure that you understand how your Personal Information will be shared and used to facilitate your use of the Services.

We may also use your Personal Information to create Anonymous Information records by excluding information that makes the information personally identifiable to you.

We will communicate with you primarily in the form of push alerts and emails. You can manage the frequency and/or opt out of receiving these communications by changing your settings on the App and/or clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email. Please note that even if you unsubscribe or opt-out, we may still send you Site and Services related communications (e.g., emails related to your account or the App).

Anonymous Information

We may use Anonymous Information at our discretion, including to market our products and services and to permit third parties to do the same. On the Services, we may use Cookies to collect your clickstream data and personalize your experience (including by tailoring content to you). We may also use Anonymous Information to analyze usage patterns so that we may enhance the Site or Services, improve the content of our software, and customize the App, Site or Services to you.

How We Disclose Information.

As noted above, if you obtain access to Services as a result of your relationship with a Corporate Subscriber, we share Personal Information with such Corporate Subscriber and, at the direction of the Corporate Subscriber, other users of the same Corporate Subscriber. If you access the Services through a Corporate Subscriber, we may also share your Personal Information with a prospective company and/or prospective subscriber if that company is interested in becoming a subscriber.
